Join the Minority Corporate Counsel Association for a three-day CLE Expo on Tuesday, March 15 through Thursday, March 17. The Expo will be held at the Chicago Marriott Downtown, 540 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
The event will kickoff on Tuesday evening with a networking reception and the presentation of MCCA's Thomas L. Sager midwest region award for firms advancing diversity. The reception begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the presentation of awards, and the evening ends at 9:00 p.m.
The CLE Expo programs begin Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. and feature a plenary session titled The Legal View: Head Honchos on Hot Topics followed by CLE segments until 5:30 p.m. Segments include topics on governance and compliance, intellectual property, employment law, technology, litigation and enforcement.
On Thursday, the sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. and the meeting will adjourn at 1:30 p.m. Topics include Global Anti-corruption; Social Media in the Workforce; White Collar Securities Enforcement; and Enterprise Risk Management 2.0. The featured plenary session, titled Judgment Day: Is this the End of Eljay Jones, will offer a unique interactive look at ethical dilemmas facing in-house counsel, asking participants for solutions and suggestions to help solve Eljay's ethical problems.
