The Maryland State Bar in conjunction with the Maryland Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the University of Baltimore and the University Of Maryland School Of Law will offer an intensive two days of deposition training.
The program is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, December 3 and 4, and is located in the University of Baltimore Business Center, Charles Street and Mount Royal Avenue in Baltimore.
Tuesday's program will run from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., and on Wednesday the program begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m.
This course was designed by experts to train participants in the skills necessary in taking and defending depositions. Participants will form teams and a mock case file will be distributed. This exercise will give attendees the opportunity to prepare witnesses for deposition and to take or defend a portion of a deposition of a party and expert witness. Performances of each participant will be videotaped for review and critiqued by the experienced faculty. Among them are Neil J. Dilloff, DLA Piper LLP; Michael S.
