The South Asian Bar Section of the Los Angeles County Bar has scheduled an evening panel discussion for Wednesday, April 15, titled Diversity in the Judiciary Panel.
The seminar will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Trial Advocacy Courtroom at Loyola Law School, 919 Albany Street in Los Angeles.
Panelists will include Commissioner Alan Rubin, Superior Court; Judge Lisa Lench, chairwoman of the State Bar of California Judicial Nomination Evaluation Commission; Jonathan Wolff, a long-standing member of LACBA's Judicial Evaluation Committee; and Loyola Law School Professor and William M. Rains Fellow Laurie Levenson. They will discuss the joys of judging and the challenges of the application process.
