A fast-paced, interactive course is being offered by the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum titled Vignettes of Legal Ethics.
The course will be held on Thursday, September 25, beginning at 1:15 p.m. and adjourning at 4:30 p.m., at the Century Center, 120 South Saint Joseph Street, South Bend, Indiana.
Attendees will review video clips and vignettes in an interactive forum designed to present ethics in an enjoyable fashion. Kevin P. McGoff, Bingham McHale LLP and Charles M. Kidd, Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission, will lead the class through such topics as corporate disputes, decorum and civility in the courtroom, ex-parte communications, mediation ethics, unauthorized practice of law by support staff, substance abuse (including information on JLAP, Indiana's Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program), transactional practice issues, and more.
