New York County Lawyers Association has planned a course for Lexis.Com users who seek to deepen their computerized legal research skills.It will take place on Wednesday, June 11 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the library on the 3rd floor, Home of the Law at 14 Vesey St, New York City. A Lexis staff attorney and research and training consultant will conduct the program.
The class will build on the technique presented in an earlier program, Basic Lexis, and will emphasize time-efficient and cost-effective searching.The audience will learn how to bypass menu screens using short cuts, to narrow search, and to refine searches with advanced connectors. Eclipse and delivery options (printing-faxing-emailing-downloading) are also covered.
