New questions constantly arise about how to effectively and fairly handle the overwhelming demands and costs of e-discovery in litigation; any lawyer who has agonized over e-discovery issues should join the Practising Law Institute for a seminar titled Electronic Discovery Guidance 2009: what Corporate and Outside Counsel Need to Know.
The program is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center, 450 N. Cityfront Plaza Drive, Chicago from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
A faculty of experienced lawyers, judges and e-discovery professionals will present an inside look at the current state of e-discovery. Among the presenters are Marie A. Lona, partner, Winston Strawn LLP; Ashish S. Prasad, chief executive officer, Discovery Services LLC; Amor A. Esteban, Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP; and Hon. Sidney I. Schenkier, presiding magistrate judge, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
