The Corporate Law Departments Section of the Los Angeles County Bar has planned an annual meeting and reception for in-house counsel in the Los Angeles community on Tuesday, April 12. Attendees will meet at the Broad Stage at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center in Santa Monica for a reception and an engaging dialogue between academy award-winning actor F. Murray Abraham (who plays Shylock in the center's Shakespeare production) and Jeffrey Horowitz, founding artistic director for Theatre for a New Audience.
The annual meeting and reception, with culinary creations and fine wines and spirits, will begin at 6:00 p.m., and the behind-the-scenes look at The Merchant of Venice will run from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. There is no charge for this event, which offers in-house counsel a chance to meet section members and become involved in the social and educational activities that the Corporate Law Section organizes annually.
Those interested are asked to RSVP with member services at (213) 896-6560 by Thursday, April 7.
