On Monday, November 15, the LA County Bar Association will present the Latest Trends in International Real Estate Development in a seminar that will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the bar association, 1055 West 7th Street in Los Angeles.
The program will provide an overview of the major Green Sustainably Built International Standards that will help developers incorporate the ones that are the most appropriate to their projects and provide guidance to the practitioners who will be advising them. It will also include information about incorporating environmentally friendly designs and indigenous people's rights in public-private development projects as well as a "from the ground up" approach to commercial development, which is taking place in Sochi, Russia, in preparation for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
The program will also feature the first LEED Platinum project in Saudi Arabia for the King Abdullah University of Science &Technology (KAUST) - a research institution with nearly 12,000 square meters of solar thermal and photovoltaic arrays.
