The Louisiana Chapter of ACC will discuss Issues for Corporate Counsel on Friday, September 25, at the World Trade Center in New Orleans.
The program will begin at 8 a.m. and adjourn at 4:15 p.m.
A variety of issues that concern corporate counsel will be discussed. The program begins with Ethics Issues for Corporate Counsel with Nancy J. Marshall, Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles, L.L.P., followed by Preventing Trade Secret and Intellectual Property Theft with Edward F. Harold, Fisher & Phillips, L.L.P. and Professionalism in Mediation with Bobby Marzine Harges, Adams and Reese, and Distinguished Professor of Law, Loyola University, New Orleans College of Law. After a members only lunch, Rene E. Thorne and Jason Stein of Jackson Lewis, L.L.P. will present the Top 10 Preventative Strategies to Avoid Benefits Litigation, followed by Electronic Discovery for Business - What You Need to Know to Stay Out of Trouble with Larry G. Canada, Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr, and Smith.
