ISRA 2009: Environmental TransactionsExamined By New Jersey CLE

The New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education will host a seminar titled ISRA 2009: Environmental Issues in Transactions - Brownfield Redevelopment & the New Site Remediation Reform Act on Thursday, May 7. The program will take place at the New Jersey Law Center, New Brunswick, New Jersey, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until 1:00 p.m.

Of the recent hot topic developments on the environmental law scene, none will more significantly alter the planning, oversight, implementation and completion of investigations and cleanups in New Jersey than the pending Site Remediation Reform Act. Considering these wide-ranging changes, NJICLE is presenting an up-to-the-minute program on the topic. Recent transitions in Site Remediation, ISRA and Brownfield Redevelopment; the new cleanup endpoint of the LSP's "Remediation Action Outcome;" impact of the new soil cleanup standards; and contractual allocation of environmental risks in real estate and business transactions will be among the key topics covered by the program.

The course will feature David B. Farber and Jay A. Jaffe, Farer Fersko, PA; Robert C. Kirsch, WilmerHale; and Irene Kropp, assistant commissioner, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
