The Greater New York ACC chapter has scheduled its annual Ethics Program and Gala Reception to honor outgoing members. The event will be held on Tuesday, November 10, at the Liberty Room and East Wing, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, 33 Liberty Street.
The CLE portion of the program, which will run from 1:30 to 5:20 p.m., focuses on ethics and is the New York chapter's signature event. Such topics as 21st Century Ethical Corporate Challenges - The In-House Counsel's Role, Internal Investigations and In-House Counsel Ethics, and Hot Topics in In-House Ethics will be discussed. Among the speakers are Thomas C. Baxter, executive vice president and general counsel of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, William B. Lytton, senior counsel, Dechert LLP; Zachery W. Carter, partner, Dorsey & Whitney LLP; and Richard E. Donovan, partner, Kelley, Drye, & Warren.
The gala reception will run from 5:30 until 8 p.m. and will honor five departing ACC-GNY board members and officers who in their years of service have generated enormous value for all in-house counsel. They are past president Lisa Whitney and board members Al Driver, Evelyn Finkelstein, Michael Kraft and Elaine Reiss.
Due to Federal Reserve security requirements, no one can be admitted if they have not RSVP'd by November 2 at noon.
