On Thursday, June 12, The Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education Committee will present the seminar Practicing Before the Supreme Court. The program will take place at the Florida Supreme Court, 500 Duval Street, Tallahassee, Florida, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.
This unique seminar will offer an opportunity to interact with the Justices of the Florida Supreme Court. Attendees will listen to an oral argument followed by a discussion with the arguing attorneys and panels on key Supreme Court practice issues. The Hon. Major B. Harding, retired Florida Supreme Court justice and Justice Raoul G. Cantero, III, both of Tallahassee, are among the speakers on topics such as professionalism, court practice and procedure, merit briefs and briefs in support and opposition to requests for discretionary review. The lunch hour will provide a chance for discussion with the Clerk of the Court, Thomas D. Hall.
