The firm of Eversheds is offering a CLE seminar titled Reductions in Force in Europe: Anticipating the HR Issues in Cross-Border Reorganizations.
The program will take place on Thursday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City.
There are significant differences between European jurisdictions in the way employment law has been implemented and in custom and practice. These inconsistencies pose challenges and risk for an HR professional who has been tasked with implementing a cross-border restructuring.
This one-day course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to project manage multi-jurisdictional workforce restructuring projects in Europe. Using case studies, panelists will explain how to get the required information at an early stage, the questions to ask of stakeholders and how to identify steps for the project plan, anticipate problems and reduce risk.
Speakers will be Frank Achilles, Heisse Kursawe Eversheds; Valrie Blandeau, Eversheds Frere Cholmeley, and Stefan Corbanie, Martin Hopkins and Martin Warren, Eversheds.
