The ethical and professional issues underlying select case law related to Electronically Stored Information (ESI) is the subject of an upcoming course being given by LSBA. On Wednesday, October 8, Fall 2008 Ethics, Professionalism and Substance Abuse will be held live via satellite broadast to key Ohio locations including Akron, Cleveland and Columbus. At each location the course will begin at 8:20 a.m. and conclude at 11:30 a.m.
Donald A. Wochna, Vestige; and Megan R. Robertson, Clinical Associate, Ohio Lawyers Assistance Program will discuss case law, including information on ESI and retrieval policies. This case law has enormous implications for malpractice related to the review of data by attorneys in civil litigation.
A discussion will also take place on why attorneys may be more susceptible to drug and alcohol abuse.
