On Tuesday, September 14, the Bar Association of San Francisco will hold a luncheon CLE event titled Ethical Challenges in Cyberspace.
It will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.
Speakers Wondie Russell, attorney at law, and Glen Olson, Long & Levit, LLP, will cover the risks raised in the electronic environment, including attorney/firm websites; the attorney-client relationship and disclaimers; third-party defamation/disparagement risk; ethics and marketing, chat rooms, and social media, such as LinkedIn and Facebook; and transmittal of attorney and client materials, attorney files, duties to advise and oversee client preservation of evidence and production of relevant non-privileged information, and inadvertent document production.
