Environmental Risks and Business Solutions is the title of an upcoming course being offered by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education on Wednesday, January 7. The course will begin at 9 a.m. and adjourn at noon at the New Jersey Law Center, New Brunswick, New Jersey.
The risk of environmental liability is always present when property is used for business reasons. Insurance policies have been created to protect against such risk; attorneys with clients facing this issue must be prepared to counsel them on how to protect against this risk. A panel of attorneys and insurance professionals has been organized to equip attendees of this course with the knowledge they need in order to protect the best interest of their clients.
Stephen W. Smithson, Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP will moderate the program. Faculty will include John Heft, New Day Underwriting Managers; Nielsen V. Lewis, Hill Wallack, LLP; Brett McGovern, XL Insurance; and Raymond S. Papperman, Stark & Stark.
