The Pennsylvania Bar Institute is offering a course in the basics of employment law, which will take place on Wednesday, June 11 at the CLE Conference Center in the Wanamaker Building, Suite 1010, Philadelphia. The seminar will also be offered on Thursday, June 26 at a Pittsburgh location to be announced; both classes will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
The seminar will examine a variety of equal opportunity topics including age discrimination, sexual harassment and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Attendees will have access to great tips on wage and hour law, as well as a review of the Fair Labor Standards and the Family and Medical Leave Acts.
Edward S. Mazurek of Moran, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Philadelphia will teach the course.
