DRI is offering a program titled Trucking Law Seminar - The Future Is Now: Trucking Defense in the 21st Century.
The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, April 17 and 18 at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs, 11111 North Seventh Street, Phoenix. Sessions will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the first day and from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the second day.
The program is designed to offer helpful tips and insights about the challenges currently confronting the trucking industry and address issues on the horizon. Participants will learn about the latest technology and its application to trucking litigation, the evolving issues of e-discovery and how to respond to the increasingly sophisticated arguments being advocated by plaintiffs.
The program chair is June J. Essis, Fineman Krekstein & Harris PC. Among the speakers are Mehdi Arradizadeh, director of claims, Schneider National Inc.; Jeffrey Cassell, vice president of corporate risk management, Laidlaw International Inc., and Kevin Skow, assistant vice president of safety, Great West Casualty Company.
