The Voice of the Defense Bar will hold its 2010 Product Liability Conference Wednesday through Friday, April 7 to 9, at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
This three-day event will bring together more than 1,000 attorneys and clients specializing in product liability. It offers cutting-edge education, private counsel meetings and specialized litigation group workshops, and it provides an opportunity to showcase products or services to this influential audience.
The Masters ofProducts is the theme for the 2010 conference. On Wednesday courses will focus on risk management and in-house issues. Thursday's focus is trial practice, and Friday's courses include an ethics program. The Specialized Litigation Group breakout sessions are spread over the three days, offering detailed analysis relevant to specific product liability practice areas and interests. A concurrent Wednesday morning session presented by the young lawyers of products is being offered as an alternative program.
Among the faculty are K. Kristann Carey, senior counsel, McDonald's Corp.; Victor P. Henderson, the executive partner in charge of the Chicago Office of Holland & Knight LLP; Mary A. Wells, member of Wells Anderson & Race LLC; and Inez Moore Tenenbaum, head of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
