The Voice of the Defense Bar will host a two-day seminar focusing on Appellate Advocacy. The conference is Thursday and Friday, March 10 and 11, at the JW Marriott Grand Lakes, 4040 Central Florida Parkway in Orlando, Florida.
Thursday's program begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 4:45 p.m. and, on Friday, the program begins at 8:00 a.m. and the conference adjourns at 3:15 p.m.
Participants will hear from a distinguished faculty of judges and lawyers who will provide important insights on appellate practice for appellate specialists and general litigators alike. A panel of federal and state appellate judges will hold a live oral argument with two experienced appellate practitioners and provide immediate feedback about what works and what does not.
The faculty includes Hon. Kermit E. Bye, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit; Hon. Elizabeth Lacy, Supreme Court of Virginia; Hon.
