In an upcoming San Francisco seminar, PLI will explore Green Technology Law and Business 2010: Legislation, Financing, Carbon Trading and Sustainability.
It is scheduled for Monday, February 22, at the PLI CA Center, 685 Market Street in San Francisco and will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Among the topics attendees will learn about are the business opportunities presented by the energy aspects of the stimulus legislation; how to benefit from green technology tax credits, loans, and other government incentive programs; IP as protection for, and a barrier to, green technology companies and strategic alliances; and carbon credit trading under the U.S. and Kyoto regimes.
Among the speakers are Matthew Denesuk, partner, IBM Capital Group; Chris Erickson, CEO and co-founder, Climate Earth, Inc.; and Ruth Smith, vice president, Government Affairs -North America, Alstom Inc.
