On Thursday and Friday, March 3 and 4, Georgetown University Law Center presents 2011 International Trade Update. The seminar will be located at Georgetown University Law Center, 600 New Jersey Avenue, NW in Washington, DC.
Day one begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Day two begins at 8:00 a.m. and adjourns at 3:15 p.m.
There will be a keynote presentation on Thursday by Ian Bremmer, president of the Eurasia Group and author of The End of the Free Market: Who Wins the War Between States and Corporations. This will be followed by a panel discussion on Current Developments at the WTO; Social Compliance Responsibilities: Agency Perspectives and In-House Counsel; Regional Trade Agreements; and a Bench Bar Dialog.
On Friday the session begins with a Year in Review, followed by several workshops discussing Customs; Dumping and Countervailing Duties in Other Countries; Customs and Intellectual Property Enforcement; and Congress and Trade Policy.
