The American Law Institute-American Bar Association will offer a two-day seminar examining corporate taxation on Thursday, March 31, and Friday, April 1, at the Hilton Embassy Row, 2015 Massachusetts Avenue, NW in Washington, DC.
Day one begins at 8:40 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. and day two begins at 8:00 a.m. and adjourns at 5:00 p.m.
On Thursday there will be a luncheon keynote address by William J. Wilkins, Jr., chief counsel, the IRS. He will be joined by Lee A. Kelley, deputy associate chief counsel, Office of the Associate Chief Counsel, IRS, and Jose Murillo, taxation specialist, Office of the International Tax Counsel, U.S. Department of Treasury.
Other panelists and speakers are from private practice, financial institutions and law schools and include Devon M. Bodoh, KPMG LLP; Mark J. Silverman, Steptoe & Johnson LLP; Eric B. Sloan, Ernst & Young LLP; and Dana L. Trier, adjunct professor in Taxation, University of Miami School of Law.
