A three-part series titled ABCs of the National Labor Relations Board is being presented by the DC Bar. Part I, Practice and Procedures before the National Labor Relations Board, will take place Wednesday, July 8. On the following Wednesday, July 15, the second part of the series, Union Organizing, will take place. Part III, Unfair Labor Practices, will be held on Wednesday, July 22. All three sessions will be held at the D.C. Bar's Conference Center, 1101 K Street NW, in Washington, DC; each session will begin at 6:00 p.m. and conclude at 9:15 p.m.
This DC Bar series intends to provide an overview of basic federal labor law from practice and procedures before the National Labor Relations Board, to unfair labor practices and union organizing.
Faculty for the series will consist of Julienne Bramesco, Colonial Parking; Peter Ohr, National Labor Relations Board; Ellen Boardman, O'Donoghue & O'Donoghue; John Boardman, UNITE HERE International Union; Peter Ford, United Food & Commercial Workers' International Union; and Christian Hansen, American Red Cross.
