On Tuesday, July 8, the DC Bar will host a program titled Lawyers, Clients and Money: Ethical Interrelationships. The seminar will take place at the DC Bar Conference Center, 1250 H Street NW, Washington DC, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and concluding at 11:45 a.m.
The interrelationship among lawyers, clients and money is full of ethical pitfalls, even for the experienced practitioner. This upcoming seminar will outline how to handle problem areas from fee agreements and billing arrangements to termination of the attorney-client relationship. Real-life scenarios will provide practical solutions to the challenges of this complicated subject.
The speakers for the program will include Heather Bupp-Habuda, American University and Georgetown University; more speakers to be announced.
