The DC Bar Association has scheduled a four-part Introduction to Health Law Series of CLE seminars.
All sessions take place from 6 to 9:15 p.m. on Thursday evenings at the DC Bar Conference Center, 1250 H Street, NW, Washington, DC.
Part I, set for January 24, will provide an introduction to the U.S. health care system, with Harry Collier, McDermott Will & Emery, and Sara Rosenbaum, George Washington University School of Public Health, as speakers.
Part II, scheduled for January 31, will offer An Introduction to Medicare, with Susan Turner and John Lessner, Ober, Kaler, Grimes & Shriver, as speakers.
Part III, slated for February 7, will offer An Introduction to Medicaid, with Andreas Schneider, Committee on Oversight, and Roger Schwartz, National Association of Community Health, as speakers.
Part IV, set for February 21, will cover compliance issues and privacy, with Barbara Ryland, CrowellMoring LLP, and Jeffrey Micklos, senior vice president and general counsel, Federation of American Hospitals, as speakers.
