On Monday, March 16, The DC Bar will host a program titled Ethics & Pro Bono: Remaining Ethical While Doing Good. The session will begin at 6 p.m. and adjourn at 8:15 p.m. at the DC Bar Conference Center, 1250 H Street, NW, Washington, DC.
The DC Rules of Professional Conduct have numerous provisions that are particularly relevant to attorneys handling pro bono matters.
Using hypothetical scenarios based on actual issues and questions that have been raised by pro bono attorneys, DC Bar ethics counsel will give attendees the tools to avoid ethical problems when representing pro bono clients. The session is extremely relevant to any attorney engaged in pro bono work.
Saul Singer of the DC Bar ethics counsel will present the program.
