The Colorado Bar Association has scheduled a day-long seminar titled Federal Contracts: Introduction to Procurement and Compliance for Friday, June 19, from 9 a.m. to 4:05 p.m. at the CLECI Large Classroom in Denver.
It is designed for in-house counsel, outside counsel, government attorneys,company management and others who have clients dealing with a federal contract and who want a great introduction to the law of federal government contracts.
Attendees will learn contract formation basics; contract performance basics; contract close-out, termination, and dispute basics; intellectual property and proprietary information issues; organizational conflicts of interest; subcontracting issues, including indemnification; an FCPA overview; andcontract compliance and mandatory disclosures under the federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
