The Colorado Bar Association has scheduled the Workers' Compensation Spring Update on Friday, March 18, at the CLECI Large Classroom, 1900 Grant Street in Denver.
It will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Program highlights include a case law update from the Colorado Court of Appeals, the Colorado Supreme Court and ICAO; answers to tough ethics questions for workers' compensation attorneys; occupational exposures linked to asthma; Rule 8 reordering issues, Medicare set-asides; bizarre cases and war stories; and medical marijuana in the workers' compensation context. Networking breaks are scheduled throughout the day and a Q&A panel with members of the faculty will wrap up the program.
Among the speakers are Frank Cavanaugh, Hall & Evans, LLC; Hon. Thomas J. DeMarino, ALJ, CO Division of Workers Compensation; T. Paul Krueger, Ritsema & Lyon, PC; and Charles E. Mortimer Jr., CO Supreme Court, attorney regulation counsel.
