The State Bar of Texas is planning a program titled Soaking Up Some CLE: A South Padre Island Litigation Seminar.
The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, May 15 and 16 at the Radisson Resort South Padre Island, South Padre Island, TX. Sessions will run from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Friday.
Panelists will examine issues such as: Recent Trends in Mandamus Practice; Top Ten US Supreme Court Cases From the Last Term; Products Liability Update; Civil Procedures Rules Update; The Ethics of Striking Back: The Noble Lawyer and the rehabilitation of the Profession; Immigration Law Update: Enforcement and Reform; Admissibility of Computer Generated Information, and Arbitration From a Lawyer's Perspective.
The course director is the Hon. Georgina M. Benavides, judge, Thirteenth Texas Court of Appeals.
