On Tuesday, June 15, The Practising Law Institute will present Internal Investigations 2010: How to Protect Your Clients or Company.
The program is located at the University of Chicago's Gleacher Center at 450 N. Cityfront Plaza in Chicago. It will run from 9:00 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.
In today's uncertain economic, legal and regulatory environment, counsel representing companies and their executives need to be proactive in identifying risks and remedying potential issues. Participants will learn how to conduct efficient and effective internal investigations to protect their clients and companies from risks of outside investigation by regulators.
Attendees will learn how to conduct an in-house or outside counsel internal investigation, what should be disclosed, how to effectively deal with auditors, the government's use of internal investigations and communication with media consultants in investigations made public.
