The Better Business Bureau has organized a forum titled Responsibility, Sustainability and ROI: Doing Well While Doing Good.It will take place on Tuesday, May 6, from 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Time Inc., Conference Center, 1271 6th Ave, New York City.
The featured speaker will be George Pohle, Vice President, Global Leader, IBM Global Business Services, who will present views and lessons learned from the power of socially responsible business to lead change, and the findings in a recent IBM report on the link between CSR, sustainability efforts and business success. The opening remarks will be given by Maurice Edelson, General Counsel, Time Inc.
Making the Social Investment Pay Off: Key Issues and Trends will be discussed by, among others, Timothy J. McClimon, President, American Express Foundation and Deborah Holmes, Americas Director-Corporate Social Responsibility, Ernst & Young.
Transparency: The Holy Grail of Corporate Social Responsibility will be explored by, among others, C. Lell Peeler, President & CEO, BBB National Advertising Review Council and Susan Puflea, Executive Vice President and Director, Change Responsibility Practice, GolinHarris.
