BBA Announces Plans For 2011 Annual Meeting

Professor Charles J. Ogletree has been named keynote speaker for the Boston Bar Association's 2011 annual meeting. Mr. Ogletree is the Harvard Law School Jesse Climenko Professor of Law, the founding and executive director of the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice and a celebrated author. The Boston Bar Association's annual meeting will take place on Thursday, October 13, at the Westin Copley Place in Boston.

Described as "a great teacher who seizes every great teaching moment to explain and educate" and "possessing one of the most brilliant legal minds in American culture," Mr. Ogletree has written many books, including When Law Fails: Making Sense of Miscarriages of Justice and All Deliberate Speed: Reflections on the First Half-Century of Brown v. Board of Education.
