The State Bar of Arizona is sponsoring a seminar titled The Ins and Outs of Foreclosure, a topic that will be helpful not only for lawyers who practice in this field but also for lawyers who practice in unrelated areas but who have been asked for advice about foreclosure by their clients.
The seminar will be held Thursday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Orange Tree Golf Resort, Scottsdale, AZ.
The current housing market, marked by a record number of mortgage foreclosure, has increased lawyers' caseloads by as much as 90 percent this year. This comprehensive nuts-and-bolts session will cover new standards for trustee qualifications, handling excess sale proceeds, changed procedures for completing a foreclosure and bankruptcy updates.
