Arbitration is now part of every successful practice, so practitioners will want to join the ABA on Wednesday through Saturday, February 10-13, at the annual Arbitration Training Institute for an intense, three-day training program
The Institute will be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert Street, NW, Washington, DC.
At this time, the training begins on Wednesday, February 10, with registration and an evening reception. All times for program meetings will be announced;check the ABA Dispute Resolution section website later this month for more information.
The topics that will be examined in depth will include the Federal Arbitration Act of 1925, the role of the arbitrator in the disclosure requirement, how to prepare for and conduct a pre-hearing conference, and managing the discovery process, parties and their lawyers.
