ALI-ABA Explores The Ethical Red Flags Of Multiple Clients

On Sunday, May 16 ALI-ABA will present Multiple Clients, Multiple Headaches: Identifying and Resolving Ethical Red Flags.

The seminar will run from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. and will be located at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, 1127 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC.

Attendees will learn of the ethical issues involved for lawyers who represent organizations in trouble. The program will explore the ethical dilemmas arising from representing both organizations and officers. Both inside and outside counsel will learn of their roles and ethical obligations toward the organizational client when things go awry. Issues include accidental clients and how to avoid making organizational representatives your clients, joint representations, conducting corporate investigations and the pitfalls in limiting the scope of representation.
