On Thursday, November 11, Akin Gump will host a seminar titled Trends in Government Oversight for 2011: When and Where the Government is Going to be Calling.The seminar is located at the offices of Akin Gump, One Bryant Park in New York City. The luncheon program will begin with lunch at noon and end at 1:30 p.m.
This program will provide attendees with an overview identifying common pitfalls and hazards to be avoided when responding to the growing number of executive branch and congressional investigations in 2011.
The topics include discussions of trends in antitrust enforcement, federal government contracting trends, congressional investigation trends, and new directions in export control and FCPA enforcement.
The speakers are J. Brady Dugan, Paul W. Butler, John F. Sopko, Scott M. Heimberg, and Steven Ross, all partners of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.
