The San Francisco/Bay Area ACC chapter has scheduled a lunchtime CLE seminar titled Injunctive Relief and Arbitration Remedies - Can You Actually Enforce Them When Push Comes to Shove?It will be presented on two dates - on Tuesday, November 11 at the Garden Court Hotel in Palo Alto and on Thursday, November 20 at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco. The program will go from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. both days.
The presentation will address uncertainties and recent developments affecting two staples of standard contract provisions: stipulated remedies clauses affording streamlined injunctive relief and arbitration clauses allowing expanded judicial review. Such provisions, which are broadly relied upon by businesses to provide predictability and cost control in resolving disputes, are increasingly becoming sources of unpredictability and risk.
