The San Francisco/Bay Area ACC chapter will host an evening of CLE and baseball with the Los Angeles Dodgers taking on their arch rivals, the San Francisco Giants, on Monday, August 10, at the AT&T Park, 24 Willie May's Plaza in San Francisco.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a 1-hour CLE presentation - a panel discussion titled Cost-Effective Legal Strategies before the game, and it will be followed by hosted food and beverages in the Legends Club.
The new economy has had a dramatic impact on how we think about business and has directly influenced how corporate legal departments manage their practices. This discussion will explore strategies corporate counsel may use in working with outside counsel to do more with less. In-house attorneys at leading technology and consumer-oriented companies will discuss how to effectively manage external resources as well as strategies, such as technology, geographic arbitrage and staffing, they can employ to maximize the value of the legal department.
