The Boston University School of Management will hold a mini-MBA course for in-house counsel. The program is part of the Association of Corporate Counsel's continuing education programs. The seminar will be held Wednesday through Friday, December 1-3, at Boston University's School of Management located at 595 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. The program on Wednesday will run from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., on Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. until adjournment at 5:00 p.m.
The curriculum includes Management Skills for In-House Counsel; Corporate Strategy for Lawyers; Finance for Lawyers; Risk Analysis; Managing People; Corporate Finance; Implementing Corporate Strategies; and Developing Methods for Minimizing the Risks in Decision Making.
The Mini MBA will offer participants the essential business skills that enhance in-house counsel's management knowledge and accounting, finance, strategy and organizational behavior.
The program faculty are William Kahn, professor, Organizational Behavior Department; Melvyn A. J. Menezes, associate professor, Marketing Department; Susan S. Samuelson, professor, Business Policy and Law Department; and Michael Smith, associate professor, Accounting Department, all at Boston University School of Management.
