Fordham University in its Forum on Law, Culture & Society series has planned a Conversation with Mario Cuomo, former governor of New York and one of America's most distinguished public servants.
The event will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, at Time Warner's Headquarters, One Warner Center at 58th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues) in New York.
Mario Cuomo is the epitome of the lawyer-statesman. Born in Depression-era Queens, Cuomo rose to become a successful attorney, law professor, and, of course, a three-term governor of New York. His electric speeches and dignified presence made him an instant contender for both the White House and the Supreme Court. He even wrote a book on lawyer-statesman Abraham Lincoln.
This event is free and open to the public. For reservations and details, visit FordhamLawandCulture.org, or contact Luciana Hall at (212) 636-6945 or email [email protected].
